Visiting kukup

Kukup Laut is a unique and a century old fishing village. It is the south most village found at the southwest tip of the Peninsular of West Malaysia and supposed to be the south most village found in the Continental of Asia. It located about 70 kilometers away from Johor Bahru and 20 kilometers from Pontian.

Once we step foot in Kukup Laut, our local friend, brought us to Kukup Island Johor National Park and Fish Farm. We travelled to these two destinations by boat. While we were on the boat we had time to catch up with our local friend as it has been ages since we last met.

The places that we have been are all build using wood and it is situated above the sea. The residents also stay at this type of structure whereby their house are situated above the sea and are mounted using a piece of thick wood to the sea bed.

Without realizing ,10 minutes has passed by, we finally arrived at our first destination which was Johor National Park.
Kukup Island is one of the biggest inhabited mangrove sites in the world. There are various species of wildlife there in the national park.

After exploring the entire Johor national park, we went to our next destination which was the Fish Farm while we were on the way to our destination we passed by Kukup Island. My first impression was my oh my was it beautiful. It was filled with trees and greenery. It was like a breath of fresh air.

After 5 good minutes we finally arrived at the Fish Farm. We were warmly welcome by one of the Fish Farm worker. He introduced us to the horseshoe crab and archerfish. The appearance of this two animals shocked me as I have never seen these types of crab and fish before.

After visiting these two places, we were super exhausted that we took a rest first before continuing. We decided to try out a dessert place called the Summerly ice House. It was really refreshing that we immediately regain our energy. After we were done indulging on the mouthwatering dessert we head back home. On a side note, according to our local friend, Summerly ice House is a famous dessert shop where their customer include artist from Singapore.

While, Mango dessert is the most famous and popular dessert there.
